The Royal Tea and Treatery is a beautiful all gluten free and dairy free tea house and bakery! Located in Costa Mesa, CA, we provide the community with gluten free and dairy free fresh baked goods, lunch and tea service options. We are available for parties, catering and wholesale!
I became gluten free and dairy free 12 years ago for medical reasons. It was very difficult for me to find baked goods that were safe for me to eat as well as palatable.
In 2010, I opened the Bite Market, an all gluten free and dairy free specialty store that stocked all of the products that my family and I enjoyed as well as local food based fare like honey, produce and baked goods. In 2014, we moved to Costa Mesa so we could bake our own products in a gluten free and dairy free safe environment.
We have also expanded to include a tea house, providing guests with a lovely, relaxing retreat where they can enjoy gluten free and dairy free foods with friends and family! We also provide local coffeehouses and restaurants with our baked goods so that their customers will have more options to enjoy while dining out.
Many of our guests can't believe that our items are gluten free and dairy free and we are always working toward creating new, healthier items to please our customers!
We would like to provide more local businesses with wholesale products and catering options and we need more employees for the baking, packaging and delivery of goods and services.
We are also currently building on our current website in order to inform and educate our customers about what we have to offer in goods and services.
Updating our location to make it more attractive, especially our patio area, with a painted sign and offering a more pleasant outdoor seating area is also something we have in the planning stages.
